About
I am an R&D Engineer at Eniris, working on improving their existing energy management systems and developing new algorithms for residential and industrial demand response. Before this, I was a PhD student working at the AI4Energy research group in IDLab, Ghent university —imec. Here, my research focused on the application of advanced machine learning algorithms for realizing residential demand response solutions. This included studying about control paradigms such as reinforcement learning as well as novel forecasting techniques such as Temporal Fusion Transformers.
Research
My current research includes model-free reinforcement learning, physics informed neural network and other specialized neural architectures for sample-efficient and interpretable controller design.
